About Me

So this page would be about me ...

My name is Johan Bernhardsson and I am a Linux aficionado or expert if you like to call me that. My expertice is mainly Linux, networking, performance. Altho i have a great knowledge in unix printing, packaging and generall IT.

My personality is open, social and efficient. I adapt easily and has no problem getting good connections with new people. Passionate about demanding assignments that takes that little extra.

Have more than 15 years experience of solutions based on open source in both large and small scales. All from small embedded devices to larges clusters and server rooms. Today my work is mostly performance and network administration.

The experience of several different Unix dialects, other operating systems and applications gives me the edge and the possibility to quickly learn a new environment and after that find where the weaknesses and strengths are.

I value clients discretion. Most of my work has been extra work where no one else fitted or where the client wanted an anonymous and dependable consultant that makes sure that stuff just works! (Example is work for a smaller Arabic government and work for offshore companies.)

Also my knowledge of coffee and beer is improving. They are merely hobbies that I am about to fulfill as business ventures soon.

One of the people behind Kafit AB, a small consultancy around Open Source in Sweden. And also Kaffa that imports high quality coffee to Sweden.

If I'm not talking about computers i most probably chat about tasting coffee or beer.

As of today two of my hobbies has evolved into stuff i work with.

Kafit AB:

A small company that mostly works with open source software. Administration and devlopment using Linux as a base.

Kaffa:

A new thing to me that also is an interest that got a tad to large perhaps. The company imports coffee of high quality to Sweden.

Mostly coffee from colombia but also from most parts of the world.
